In this video I show how to build a mini salad farm with an old drink carton. You'll need scissors, an old drink carton, plan label, pencil, salad or radish seeds, multipurpose compost (peat free if you can!) and a watering can.
One made, keep your min farm indoors, in a warm and sunny spot. Check daily to see if it needs water.
It's a great activity to do with children (they might need help with the cutting of the carton), and you can expect your mini farm to germinate within a week.
